Nathalie Regard, b. Madrid, lives and works in Mexico and Glasgow

Nathalie Regard is graduated from MFA at Glasgow School of Art, in Scotland (2005). She grew-up in Chile, then moves to Mexico City in 1997, were she has been exhibiting since : Autonomous University of Mexico, (U.AM - Xochimilco, 2000), Arts and Craft Factory, (Faro de Oriente, 2002) and at Yvonamor Palix Gallery (2003). In 1999, she moved to Paris and worked as an artist in residence at Lycée Moulin Fondu for three years, were she started to develop large format paintings (Beaume d'éther). She participated in few group exhibitions such as Les Ateliers in Montreuil, Espace Eiffel-Branly, Contemporary Art Center in Noisy-le-Sec (La Galerie, 2001) and at Tramway, in Glasgow (2005). She was part of the show at the Print National Museum in Mexico City (2006). In 2007, she presented her most recent large format work as part of the II Universal Forum of Cultures, in Monterrey, as well as an artist-book publication (Void Painting). She had a solo exhibition at Myto Gallery, in Mexico City (Bed Time Stories, 2007). Her work has been the subject of variuos publications and has been reviewed in Mexico and internationally (Art News, Art Nexus, Les Lettres Françaises, Artes Visuales en México : Siglo XXI).
